Medtronic Inceptor Plus
Medtronic has developed a next generation self-expanding carotid stent and filter system. The system provides patients affected by carotid artery disease with a new minimally invasive treatment option to surgical procedures for the prevention of stroke. Brownlie Design was asked to develop the ergonomic design of the hand held filter deployment controller. During this project extensive surgeon input and testing was used to insure simple, intuitive operation and maximum ergonomic comfort.
